If you are not the New Zealand passport holder then you need a visa to enter into the Australia or if within the eight hours of arrival you are continuing your journey and also with the same it’s necessary that you are not leaving the transit lounge and having a valid onward ticket. And it’s also necessary that you have to obtain the Australian visa well before the departure as without the same its not allowed to board the aircraft so the need of the valid visa or ETA, passport or travel documents are necessary. You have to also find out that which visa you need as according to your need as there are many Australian visas which are available to apply and for that it is necessary that you better make a good decision to choose the right visa and then start making your file as according to that particular category of visa and then submit the application after checking the documents properly and with the right information and guidance too. If you have any doubt regarding the same then you can ask in the Australian visa office or you should discuss about the same with any good consultant. There are different time requirements for the different visas to issue as sometime it also depends on the high demand also.
